ABOUT ME

Adventure, storytelling, and human connection have shaped my journey in ways I never could have predicted. Born and raised in Akron, Ohio, I set out on my own path, studying at the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College before embracing a life of travel, creativity, and exploration.

After college, I made San Francisco my home for many years, building my career and community in a city filled with artists, media makers, musicians, tech innovators and a ton of energy during the dot.com boom and bust. But life had other plans. A chance meeting in the jungle of Thailand led me to my husband, and before long, I was packing my bags again—this time for Mexico, where I spent the next 10 years immersed in its vibrant culture and capturing stories along the way.

I’ve always been drawn to different perspectives, whether through media, travel, or the simple act of listening. My love for storytelling is deeply tied to my love for people—learning what moves them, what inspires them, and what makes us all beautifully human.

Professionally, I serve as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications at PRIVO, where I help lead the charge in shaping safer, more empowering digital experiences for children and teens. My roots are in children's media, where I spent years as a producer creating content that both entertains and educates. That foundation continues to inform my work today—developing strategies that protect young users while supporting brands in building trust and meaningful connections. At the intersection of privacy, technology, and storytelling, I’ve found a mission that truly matters.

I feel most at home outdoors—hiking, kayaking, tending to my garden, or gazing up at the stars. I believe in the power of play, the magic of overnight camp, and the importance of staying curious. These days, I’ve put down roots in Copley, Ohio, where I live with my husband and two children, but my sense of adventure is always alive.

Life is an ever-evolving story, and I’m always excited for the next chapter. Let’s connect!
